  • On February 7, the U.S. Space Systems Command (SSC) issued a Request for Information (RFI) pertaining to GPS modernization efforts, specifically the “development of a GPS Rapid Prototype Demonstration, Tranche 0.” The prototype will operate in Medium-Earth Orbit and should be compatible with current GPS equipment.
