GPSIA Congratulates Mr. Adam Cassady on his Confirmation

as Ambassador-At-Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy

Lisa Dyer, Executive Director of the GPS Innovation Alliance (GPSIA), issued the following statement:

“GPSIA congratulates Mr. Adam Cassady on his confirmation as U.S. Ambassador-At-Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy. Mr. Cassady’s experience as Deputy Administrator for the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, serving at the Federal Communications Commission, and as an entrepreneur in machine learning technologies makes him an excellent representative to lead U.S. satellite, telecommunications, and digital innovation diplomacy on the world stage.

“Mr. Cassady recognizes that critical national and economic security matters are at the forefront of America’s diplomacy, including at the upcoming 2027 World Radiocommunication Conference. We welcome his leadership in advancing technologies that are critical to American leadership and innovation. We look forward to working alongside Mr. Cassady and his team in his new role to ensure that protecting radionavigation satellite services spectrum used by the Global Positioning System and other space-based positioning, navigation, and timing technologies remain central to America’s diplomatic outreach.”
